Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Paro to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver and driven to Bhutan’s capital city, Thimphu. After checking in and refreshing at your hotel, begin your Bhutanese experience with visits to Buddha Dordenma (a giant seated Buddha overlooking the valley), the National Memorial Chorten (a spiritual landmark for locals), and Tashichho Dzong (the fortress housing the King’s office and monastic body). End the day strolling through Thimphu town and the local craft bazaar. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views of Thimphu from Sangaygang, then visit the historic Changangkha Lhakhang. In the afternoon, explore the School of 13 Arts and Crafts, observe traditional weaving at the Gayden Lhuendrup Weaving Center, and end your day at the lively Centenary Farmer’s Market. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
Today, drive through scenic mountain landscapes toward Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. On the way, stop at Dochula Pass to admire Himalayan views and 108 memorial stupas. In Punakha, visit Chimi Lhakhang (the fertility temple), the majestic Punakha Dzong at the confluence of two rivers, and walk across one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, travel to Paro. Upon arrival, explore the National Museum showcasing Bhutan’s cultural treasures and visit the Rinpung Dzong, also known as the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.” Later, stroll through the charming streets of Paro town. Overnight in Paro.
Day 5: Tiger’s Nest Hike
After an early breakfast, hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliffside with stunning views of Paro Valley. In the afternoon, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. In the evening, experience Bhutanese hospitality at a traditional farmhouse, enjoy a home-cooked meal, and spend time with the local family. Overnight in Paro.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at Paro International Airport for your onward journey. We hope you leave with cherished memories of Bhutan.

Discount
There shall be no charge for children up to the age of 5 years on Bhutan travel cost. However, those between the ages of 6 – 11 years get 50 % discount on daily rates.
