Overview

This 10-day journey blends festival celebrations with visits to ancient temples, monasteries, high mountain passes, and peaceful valleys like Phobjikha. Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu (1.2 hrs)
Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive to Thimphu. Explore the streets or relax at the hotel.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit the weekend market, Handmade Paper Mill, School of Arts & Crafts, Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Preserve, and Zilukha Nunnery.

Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha (2.5 hrs)
Drive via Dochula Pass for panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility.

Day 04: Punakha Festival
Enjoy the full day at the colorful Punakha Festival with mask dances, cultural performances, and traditional music.

Day 05: Punakha Festival or Excursion
Continue the festival celebration or opt to visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten or take an excursion to Rinchenling village.

Day 06: Punakha – Phobjikha (3 hrs)
Travel to the serene Phobjikha Valley. En route, stop in Wangdue and visit Gangtey Monastery.

Day 07: Explore Phobjikha
Hike through the valley, visit local schools, meet locals, and enjoy nature in one of Bhutan’s most beautiful glacial valleys.

Day 08: Phobjikha – Paro (6 hrs)
Drive back to Paro. Visit the National Museum, Paro Dzong, and stroll across the traditional wooden bridge.

Day 09: Tiger’s Nest Hike & Paro Sightseeing
Hike to the iconic Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang and Drukgyel Dzong.

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Discount
There shall be no charge for children up to the age of 5 years on Bhutan travel cost. However, those between the ages of 6 – 11 years get 50 % discount on daily rates.
