Join us on a journey through Bhutan’s rich traditions during the annual Thimphu Tsechu Festival, one of the most important religious events in the capital. This 8-day tour takes you through the cultural heart of Bhutan—from sacred monasteries and ancient fortresses to masked dance ceremonies and spiritual cliffside hikes. Witness vibrant festivals, explore iconic landmarks like the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro and visit Kyichu Lhakhang and the historic Drugyel Dzong. Drive to Thimphu and explore the city.

Day 02: Thimphu City Sightseeing
Visit Buddha Dordenma, School of Arts & Crafts, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, Mini Zoo, and Memorial Chorten.

Day 03: Attend Thimphu Tsechu Festival
Spend the day at the Thimphu Tsechu held at Tashichho Dzong, enjoying sacred masked dances and traditional rituals.

Day 04: Final Day of Festival & Tango Monastery Hike
Attend the closing dances of the festival in the morning. After lunch, hike to Tango Monastery, a spiritual center and monastic university.

Day 05: Thimphu – Punakha via Dochula Pass
Travel to Punakha with a scenic stop at Dochula Pass. Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong at the confluence of two rivers.

Day 06: Punakha – Paro
Return to Paro. Visit the National Museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong. Evening free for leisure or shopping.

Day 07: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
Take a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan’s most iconic spiritual site perched on a cliffside.

Discount
There shall be no charge for children up to the age of 5 years on Bhutan travel cost. However, those between the ages of 6 – 11 years get 50 % discount on daily rates.
